I follow the ORIGINAL, unaltered, pre-1957 pledge to the Flag of the United States.

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE

TO THE FLAG,

OF THE UNITED STATES

OF AMERICA,

AND TO THE REPUBLIC,

FOR WHICH IT STANDS,

ONE NATION,

ABOVE ALL,

INDIVISIBLE,

WITH LIBERTY AND

JUSTICE FOR ALL!

I was asked to send this on if I agree or ignore if I don't. What do you think about this?

It is said that 14% of Americans (42 Million people) do not believe in a deity. Therefore I have a very hard time understanding why those 86% need to cause a fuss about having "In God We Trust" on our money and having a reference to a deity in the Pledge of Allegiance, when we really don't care if they do or NOT. We need to have our original pre 1957 Pledge of Allegiance back to stop this pointless drivel of an argument. Why don't we just tell those 86% (258 Million people) to Sit Down, SHUT UP and pray silently in their own little world!!!
